Sierra Mitchell, a ceramicist and my wife, asked me to help her create a brand for her business. She wanted something that symbolized her rebirth leaving the corporate world forever, and her new found passion for creating ceramics by hand. The phoenix, which dies and is reborn in fire was also the perfect symbol for her pottery. Each piece is created by hand, then created anew through the fire.
